Cancellation
This information applies to Midget Teams playing at Huapai Domain
(Midget grade covers under 5,6,7 and 8 years)
The only method Norwest United uses to advise players of cancellation of Midget games on Saturdays due to ground closure at Huapai Domain or extremely bad weather (thunder and lighting over Huapai from 7:30 am) is to change the recorded message on our answer phone....
If you think there is a chance that games have been cancelled on a Saturday morning, call the club phone number - 412 2066 and listen to the message. We update this message as soon as we are advised of ground closure or of extremely bad weather - usually betwen 7:30 and 7:45am on Saturday.
Please note: Soccer is a winter sport and we do not cancel games just because of rain...
It is unfair on the opposition team you are scheduled to play if your team decides not to turn up because it is raining.... If however your team is unable to play for a genuine reason please advise the team you are scheduled to play as soon as possible - the easiest way to do this is to click here info@norwestsoccer.org.nz requesting contact details for the other team, a reply email with contact details will be sent shortly there after.
